To ensure Boag´s Draught Light remans true to the character of the full strength beer, two batches of Boag's Draught are brewed normally and filtered to the bright beer stage. The alcohol is then stripped off one batch using a low temperature vacuum evaporation method.

The two batches are then blended to create a full-flavoured beer with 2.7% ABV, exhibiting pleasing body with a slight crystal malt flavour and a pleasant bitter finish.
